Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. Export your data first if you want to keep a copy — Settings → Data Export, available as CSV, Excel or PDF.
Delete it yourself, in the app
This is the fastest route and takes effect immediately.
- Open Budgets and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm. Your account and data are removed straight away.
If you cannot sign in
Email growwithmoneyplant+support@gmail.com from the address you registered with, and put Delete my account in the subject line. We will confirm the request and delete the account within 30 days.
We may ask you to confirm ownership of the address before deleting, to stop someone else deleting your records.
What gets deleted
Everything you created in the app, from our servers and from the account itself:
- Your account and sign-in credentials
- Transactions, including amounts, dates, descriptions and notes
- Accounts, savings pots and balances
- Cards you added (name, type, last four digits, expiry, limit)
- Budgets, budget categories and budget periods
- Recurring schedules
- Receipt images you uploaded
- Categories and payment methods you created
- Learned category suggestions
- Your app settings and preferences
Deleting the app from your phone also removes the local copy held on the device.
What is kept, and for how long

Cancel your subscription separately. Deleting your account does not cancel an active Google Play subscription. Cancel it in the Play Store → Subscriptions, or it will keep renewing.
