Fast expense entry
Amount, category, done. Payment method, account and notes are there when you want them and out of the way when you don't.
Log a expense in seconds. Watch budgets that actually carry over. See six months ahead. Every insight is worked out on your phone — not on someone else's server.
Free to use. No ads. No data selling. Ever.
Not a spreadsheet with a skin on it. Accounts, pots, cards, budgets and schedules that understand each other.
Amount, category, done. Payment method, account and notes are there when you want them and out of the way when you don't.
Nest savings pots inside an account. Track credit cards with their limit and current usage. Transfers move money between them properly.
What you don't spend this month rolls into the next. Alerts at 80%, 90% and 100% — once each, not every time you open the app.
Rent, salary, subscriptions. They're generated for you on schedule — even while the app is closed — and catch up if you've been away.
Your schedules plus your real spending average, projected forward. It tells you which month gets tight before it does.
Repeating charges get spotted automatically. Turn one into a schedule in a tap, or dismiss it and it stays dismissed.
Photograph a receipt and keep it with the transaction. Stored privately — reachable only through a short-lived link, never a public URL.
Your data leaves as CSV, Excel or PDF whenever you want it. Import a CSV to bring history in. No lock-in.
Your fingerprint guards the whole app, not just the first screen — every route, every deep link, every time it resumes.
Most apps reset you to zero on the first. Budgets doesn't. Money you didn't spend compounds forward, so an underspent January still helps you in March.
Add an expense on the bus with no signal. It's saved immediately and sent when you're back. Two phones converge on the same answer — and if anything can't be synced, you're told which thing, not shown a green tick that means nothing.
Insights — the forecast, the overspend warnings, the subscription detection — are all computed on your phone. Your transactions do sync to your account so they're on your other devices, and we say so plainly rather than claiming they never leave.
The free tier isn't a demo. Premium lifts the limits and adds the heavier features.
No. You enter transactions yourself, or import a CSV. Budgets has no bank connection and cannot move money. That's a deliberate choice: it means there are no banking credentials to lose.
Yes. Everything is stored on your phone first. When you reconnect, changes sync to your account and to your other devices.
Your transactions, budgets, accounts, cards, schedules, settings and receipt files are permanently deleted. It cannot be undone, so export first if you want a copy.
Only what's useful as a label — the card's name, type, last four digits and expiry. Never the full number, never a CVV, never a PIN. Payments go through Google Play, so we never see your payment details at all.
In transit and on our servers, yes. The copy on your phone sits in the app's private storage protected by Android's sandbox, and is not separately encrypted by us — the in-app biometric lock guards the screen, not the stored file. We'd rather say that than imply otherwise.
Android for now. iOS isn't available yet.
Free to use, no ads, and your data leaves whenever you want it to.
